Important Camping Gear that you Should not Forget about

If you are thinking to camp, there are some indispensable camping gear you will hardly forget to take: inner tents, camping equipment bags, and sleeping bags. However, are all the various available options all the same? Let’s analyse them:

Awning Inner tents

Those with a double roof are the best, especially when it rains. However, if your inner tent does not have this feature, you may adapt a plastic cover as a way of protection. Those with a floor are also the safest and most comfortable tents.

Inner tents made of aluminium nylon are the lightest and easiest to put up, especially if your idea is to explore different places. Otherwise, if you intend to stay at the same camping site for several nights, you can choose a model with inner divisions and a little heavier. You can also use windbreaks or awning curtains in order to get some more privacy and wind protection in big camping places.

Camping equipment bags

There is a great variety, for all tastes and needs. Its size will depend on the pack volume, which will be related to the amount of days the trip will last. The best camping equipment bags are those with various compartments, auxiliary ropes, pockets, and an anatomic design for a balanced weight distribution on the back.

Sleeping bags

The chosen place of destination will determine which the most advisable sleeping bags are. If you intend to travel to a cold place, purchase a thermal insulated one with a flannel and polyester stuffing, to resist low temperatures. In mild temperatures, cotton filled or polyester stuffing will be enough. If you carry your sleeping bag on your back, check the instructions referring to weight on the product label. You can also carry some mats to lay under the bag, to soften the soil under your body.
